ScalED – Scalable Education Solutions for Global Markets
ScalED – Scaled Educational Solutions for Global Markets -project targets to develop products, competence and export activities for distance learning, digital content and technical solutions. It also aims to develop the competence to participate in global development bank projects.
Objectives
- ScalED – Scaled Educational Solutions for Global Markets -project targets to develop products, competence and export activities for distance learning, digital content and technical solutions. It also aims to develop the competence to participate in global development bank projects.
- The project aims to promote the growth of the educational services of the region by creating scalable digital educational solutions for the needs of developing markets.
- These solutions take in consideration especially the pedagogical and digital scalability.
- The development work and co-operation between region’s educational institutions and companies will result in increased competence in producing educational services for global markets.
- The project also targets to improve the ability to participate in projects funded by development banks. These development cooperation projects will improve and build region’s public-private co-operation and the quality of educational services targeted for international markets.
- The digital educational solutions created in this project can potentially be used as references in tenders organized by the development banks.
Partners
ScalEd is coordinated by Oulu University. The partners are Luovi Vocational College, Oulu University of Applied Sciences, Educational Consortium OSAO, Diaconia University of Applied Sciences Diak, City of Oulu and BusinessOulu.
The financier of the ScalEd project is the Council of Oulu Region funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
