International activities

Luovi’s wide international cooperation aims at bringing an international aspect to daily life so that everyone can participate. This includes support for student and staff exchange programs, language and cultural training, receiving students and staff members abroad and international projects. Luovi supports students’ mobility and internationalisation at home as part of their studies and of developing their capabilities.

Luovi’s students’ mobility experience

I had my Erasmus+ mobility in Spain, Fuerteventura for four weeks. The idea of going had been a dream of mine for a while. I wasn’t scared to go abroad alone, because I got so much support from my teachers at our school.

I was working at a small, local clothing store. My working hours were different every day, and the customers were both locals and tourists. On my free-time I explored the island by walking and by bike, I also took a bus to visit a village on the other side of the island.

Even though the basic work tasks were already familiar to me, I learned a lot about customer service and also improved my English. I even learned a little bit of Spanish. My ERASMUS+ experience in total was an amazing and I learned a lot. I could have stayed there for a bit longer!

Test and courageously take advantage of digital services, VR, AR or other gamification in teaching – even for the first time. We are part of the Bit the Spectrum project, which utilises VR and AR technology to support the learning of people on the autism spectrum.

Communications in Basque Country
